I am deeply committed to my role as an educator. This commitment is reflected not only in the classroom but also in my service to the department. Here at Pitt HPS I serve on the undergraduate studies (curriculum) committee as well as the teaching assessment committee, collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative methods for assessing faculty teaching. I am also a member of the core faculty for the department's Certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine, a role which involves ongoing pedagogical development.
